This 3/4 x 3/4 tintype was almost lost to history as I found it sandwiched in an old photo album tucked way out of sight. Had I not tried to remove the other two pictures taking up residency, I would have passed it over.
This is from my Stevens Family album (Springfield, MA and/or Westfield, MA) and is likely dated sometime between 1860-1900.
Other names besides Stevens might be Burdett, Pierce, Coates, May, Crosby, King, Waffle, Dodge, Knapp, Bliss, Burt and/or Bassett.
It's a super long shot, but if anyone can help identify her, I'd be grateful!
